Yesterday, 6th August, 2025; The Chairman of Benue State Football Association, Chief. Barr. Dr. Paul Edeh, received Super Falcons midfielder and Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), Christy Ucheibe, alongside her football family, CAMPpro FC Abuja, on a courtesy visit in his office at Abuja.
The delegation, led by CAMPpro FC President Mr. John Godfrey Okoh, included Christy Ucheibe OON and Mr. Luter Iyorhe. The visit was aimed at strengthening relationships and sharing the club's vision with the visionary football stakeholder.
In his opening remarks, Barr. Paul Edeh warmly welcomed the delegation and congratulated Christy Ucheibe OON and the entire Super Falcons squad for their performance on the global stage, notably referencing their recent accomplishments under the “Mission X” campaign.
“I am deeply honored to have you here today, this is not just a visit, it is a statement of purpose,” Barr. Edeh said. “Coming to salute me indeed worth commending, our society today pays less attention to those making positive strides in certain areas and it's rare to find people go out genuinely to honour such people, thus I commend you for finding me worthy.”
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, CAMPpro FC President Mr. John Godfrey Okoh expressed appreciation for the warm reception, describing the visit as a “homage and courtesy paying visit.” He emphasized the club’s commitment to youth development and community engagement.
Christy Ucheibe, a proud ambassador of CAMPpro FC, spoke passionately about the club’s mission, saying:
“CAMPpro FC is a talent-developing and opportunity-giving platform for the younger generation of footballers. We are committed to grooming future stars and giving them soft landings which some of us never had.”
In his keynote remarks, Barr. Paul Edeh expressed admiration for the club's vision and pledged his full support, boldly declaring himself the ๐ป๐๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ป of CAMPpro FC Abuja.
He further charged the delegation with strategic insights, outlining five key pillars for growth and sustainability:
1. Never lose sight of the goal (CAMPpro FC)
2. Fan applause is beautiful, but monetization is key
3. Protect and preserve the CAMPpro FC brand
4. Think strategically in all endeavors
5. Build loyalty, create value, and maintain relevance through intentional efforts
Quoting Nelson Mandela, Barr. Edeh concluded:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure... It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”
The event ended on a high note with a symbolic exchange of gifts. CAMPpro FC presented their official jersey to Barr. Edeh, while the Benue FA Chairman, on behalf of his club Naija Ratels, gifted official kits to Christy Ucheibe OON in recognition of her ambassadorial role.
