In what has been a remarkable footballing journey, 17 year old Nelson Sule of Enyimba FC Feeders has continued his steady rise through the ranks, culminating in his selection to the final 17-man squad of the NPFL Youth Team.

After a rigorous selection process that began with 400 players, narrowed down to 70, and finally trimmed to just 17, Sule’s name was among those who made the cut a testament to his exceptional talent and work ethic.

The young midfielder, who started his football journey with Red and Black Flames Otukpo, has seen his progression take him from the dusty pitches of Otukpo to one of Nigeria’s most storied clubs, Enyimba FC Aba, and now, to the national spotlight with the NPFL Youth Team.

During the camp selection process, Sule made an undeniable impact. Contributing to 70% of the team’s five victories, he scored one goal and provided two key assists, statistics that highlight his influence and importance to the squad.

Being named among the final 17 players who will tour Europe marks a milestone moment for the lad. It is a proud day not just for Nelson, but also for Enyimba FC Feeders and his boyhood club, Red and Black Flames Otukpo, both of which played key roles in nurturing his talent.
