๐Ÿ”ดDominic Iorfa Shows Solidarity with Rivers United, Urges Unity for Continental Success.

Today, 25 October 2025, was a day of joy and pride at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, as Rivers United sealed qualification to the group stage of the CAF Champions League. The Nigerian side defeated Black Bulls 3-1 to overturn their earlier 1-0 loss in the first leg.
The atmosphere was electric as fans and stakeholders celebrated the victory. Among those in attendance was the General Manager of Barau FC and NPFL Youth Programs Director, Dominic Iorfa, who came to show his support for Rivers United, Nigeria’s only representative in the competition currently.

Iorfa's gesture emphasized the importance of unity and support among Nigerian clubs, he gesture can be best described as “We are one, and must support each other to succeed at the continental level.”

His gesture of solidarity caught the attention of many fans and football lovers, who praised him for his sportsmanship and commitment to the growth of Nigerian football. Many described his presence as a great example for other football administrators to follow.
The hardworking football chief, fondly called “Workaholic Human Express,” is expected to travel to Abia State next, where his team, Barau FC, will face Abia Warriors FC on Sunday, 26 October, 2025.

Dominic Iorfa’s show of unity has once again proven that when Nigerian clubs and administrators stand together, the country’s football can achieve greater heights on the continental stage, the Nigerian Ex-International has indeed taught us something new, and indeed his actions have spoken louder than voices for Rivers United and the entire Nigerian Football.
